TIMBERS AND TECH: AIRBOAT

At Black Fox, being on the lake isn’t just a summertime activity, it’s a full time job. That’s why we recently invested in an airboat to keep our clients’ builds running smoothly through every season.
When building on properties with no road access, you need a plan to keep the crew working twelve months a year. While there’s ice roads in the winter, they’re no use during the freeze up or thaw periods, which is where our airboat comes in.
With a flat bottom and an airplane-like propeller, our crew is able to easily navigate the icy waters of the Lake of the Woods region where a normal boat wouldn’t stand a chance. It’s one more way that we’re able to conquer the elements and keep our projects moving forward.
